This is the best place to eat before seeing a play at the National Theatre. Really delicious food, beautifully cooked always flavourful. The big plus is all mains have vegetables included so you get a balanced plate of food although I did add delicious crispy chips! I’ve been a few times and never had a bad meal. The menu is broad enough to cater for many different diners too. My only niggle is the noise, it’s very loud and difficult to hear.

This was an excellent choice for a midweek birthday meal out. We had a free glass of birthday bubbles thanks to having signed up to the mailing list and a 25% off voucher to use for the bill. Atmosphere was good, service excellent and 2-4-1 cocktails early evening meant we had a great value drink whilst waiting for our table on arrival. Excellent value meal out with voucher and would highly recommend. We will be going back!

Attended here for a private birthday party and it was amazing. They had a lovely space for guests. Staff were so good and attentive. Restaurant & toilets were kept to a good standard. Food was so tasty & perfect. Definitely worth a visit for dining, drinks or an event.

First visit following a random Google search. We loved it - great food choices, lovely staff, bustling atmosphere Our party of two chose one A La Carte and one Pre Theatre menu. Both were excellent, fresh and interestingly different. Cheese souffle was stunning Ideal location at the Southbank complex even though the location is largely at basement level. Though not relevant to this restaurant visit, the entire Southbank restaurant and bar area is looking very tired now, with excesses of concrete and multiple vehicle access points - it looks like it is stuck in the 1980s and warrants an overhaul

Excellent food and atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating service. We had the chicken liver parfait and the fish soup for appetizers. For our entrees, we had the Sea Bream and the Duck Confit. It was my first night in London and, wow; one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Perfect execution of all four dishes. The chicken liver came with a red onion jelly that paired so well with the creamy chicken liver parfaits. The fish soup had rich, garlicky bouillabaisse and came with some butter, Gruyere and croutons on the side which one should empty right into the soup without hesitation. I could have had 4 bowls and called it a day. The duck confit was traditional, simple and cooked to perfection. The Sea bream came with artichoke hearts, croutons, roasted tomatoes and fingerling potatoes. This was the kind of meal that one might ask for before the Electric chair, lol. I was very surprised to learn that this was a chain, but hats off to the entire kitchen and management company. One additional note is that they didn’t have music blasting in the background, which made the experience that much more enjoyable .

Been here a couple of times recently and had a great time. Relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, well presented and good variety on menu and reasonable prices. The staff are very attentive and lovely. Can be noisy before theatre goers leave, but not in a bad way. Lots of space. It will be a regular haunt for me now as it’s also convenient for southbank and Waterloo station.

Such a lovely spot to find right by the London Eye and the Waterloo train/tube station. The service was friendly and inviting - our server was a funny guy and had great banter. The food was top knotch as we enjoyed the fish soup, tart, whole fish, and the crab. You have to go just for the pistachio souffle - absolutely divine. We also had some of their selection of white wines which paired perfectly with our dishes. Absolutely will visit again

Went for our booked Christmas dinner last 1st December. The table we we're given was lovely and spacious. The restaurant was not packed to the point that it feels stuffy. Food was great overall especially the beef!!! You must get it. Food comes hot and at the same time. 4/5 for the food cos I didn't really enjoy the apple pie. It was too tart and the ice cream was smaller than the universal ice cream scoop serving. For real. 4/5 for the service cos even though we said we're still waiting for someone to arrive, the server bought out the starters without letting us know. It would've been nice if they had check with us. Still a lovely experience and i am still very happy to go back.
